Engineering Accolade for Shell Solar Director

March 16, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Terry Jester, senior director of engineering and operations for Shell Solar, was recently honored with the Outstanding Engineering Achievement Merit Award from the San Fernando Valley Engineers Council. The honor is given to the individual who has achieved significant accomplishments in a particular area of engineering activities. Jester was one of 20 professionals who received the prestigious award at the 49th annual gala honors and awards banquet, held in Studio City, California. Jester, who has more than 24 years in the solar industry, is responsible for manufacturing operations, technical development and product development for Shell Solar in the U.S. Prior to joining Shell, Jester held engineering jobs with increasing responsibility with Arco Solar, IBM, Hughes Aircraft and Siemens Solar Industries.
