Despatch Contracted by Asian PV Market, Surpasses 1 GW

Despatch Industries has been contracted by an Asian photovoltaic (PV) solar cell manufacturer to replace the manufacturer’s existing vendor with Despatch equipment, a variety of infrared (IR) products that provide thermal processing control, improved cost of ownership and value-added options.

Despatch’s patent-pending design produces high-efficiency solar cells while maximizing uptime and throughput. Since its entrance into the photovoltaic market, Despatch has engineered and manufactured solar cell production equipment that has improved and optimized inline solar cell manufacturing. In an earlier announcement, Despatch Industries surpassed the 1-gigawatt (GW) benchmark in solar cell production capacity. Currently, Despatch manufactures infrared dryers and firing furnaces and the DCF Series, a new integrated, inline diffusion system. Founded in 1902, Despatch Industries, which offers thermal processing and environmental simulation solutions, is expanding its global presence in the PV, semiconductor and electronic markets.
