Database Compiles Solar PV Customer Market

May 19, 2004 [] A California company named Engency Inc. announced they have spent the last two years building and compiling “the most comprehensive retail customer database available” for the solar industry. The database model was built from actual retail solar purchases and several other critical segments, such as a solar index, access to solar subsidies, and homeowner credit data down to the street address. Everything is tied together in a cohesive package that is ready to be “leveraged” into a successful marketing campaign, said the company. Moreover, there is easy compatibility with the manufacturer’s lender of choice because of the integrated credit data with pre-approval of financing for customers.
