Constellation Energy to Purchase Solar Energy from Solar Plant in Brockton, Mass.

[RealTimeTraders.com News] Constellation Energy Group Inc., provider of energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers, said its subsidiary, Constellation NewEnergy, signed a long-term agreement to purchase all of the output from the new solar energy power plant in the City of Brockton, Mass. The Baltimore, Maryland-based company said the project will be the first utility-scale solar- photovoltaic system in New England. Designed to produce 425 kilowatts of electricity, the Brightfield site will generate enough energy per year to power City Hall and a portion of the police station’s load.
