Dongying, China [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] CNPV Solar Power SA announced the completion and inauguration of a 2-megawatt (MW) and a 1.1-MW ground mounted solar photovoltaic ground mounted in the Czech Republic that were developed by Stand-By Europe at the end of December, 2009.
The ground mounted solar systems were built for individual investors in the Czech Republic. The 2-MW system was built in Kosorin and the 1.1-MW system was built in Malsice Cenkov. The two projects were financed by Unicredit Leasing and Volksbank respectively.
The solar systems began full operation in December 2009 and represent an investment of €11 million. The two systems will produce close to 2,759 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity per year.
