Clear Skies Solar Announces US $8M Project

Clear Skies Solar Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Badger Creek Development L.L.C. of Beverly Hills, California for the design and construction of a 2.1-megawatt (MW) Solar Farm to be located in Badger, California.

The project, which is expected to require US $8 million in investment, is now in the initial design and engineering stages and will be structured as a utility Power Purchase Agreement. Clear Skies will be working with Frontier Renewables LLC, a German-American solar park developer for the engineering, procurement and construction of the project. The solar park will be built on an existing 30-acre Brownfield that once served as an airplane landing strip.

“This partnership with Frontier Renewables will enable Clear Skies Solar to expand into larger markets and continue to grow our business both in the United States and abroad,” said Ezra Green, Clear Skies Solar’s chairman and CEO.
