Back-contact PV conductive adhesives offer cure options

Engineered Conductive Materials LLC debuted the DB-1580 Series Conductive Stringer Attach Adhesives for back-contact crystalline silicon solar modules.

August 26, 2011 — Engineered Conductive Materials LLC, conductive interconnect materials supplier for photovoltaic applications, debuted the DB-1580 Series Conductive Stringer Attach Adhesives for back-contact crystalline silicon solar modules.

The conductive adhesives make contact from vias or other conductors in the solar cells to the back contact sheet, technology known as back-contact solar cells. They absorb thermal cycling stresses, maintaining conductive stability to back contact metallizations during damp heat exposure. The products cure through the encapsulant lamination and cure process, or are available in fast-cure versions.

Engineered Conductive Materials, LLC (ECM) is a wholly-owned company of Engineered Materials Systems, Inc. (EMS). ECM?s technology focus is electronic circuit fabrication that compliments EMS?s circuit assembly product line. For more information, visit www.conductives.com.
