Madera, California [RenewableEnergyAccess.com] B-K Lighting unveiled its 116-kilowatt (kW) solar electric system designed and installed by REC Solar; it is composed of 680 Mitsubishi Electric 170-Watt panels and, when completed, it is expected to supply two-thirds of B-K Lighting’s overall electrical energy per year in renewable green energy. This solar electric system will produce over 170,000 kW hours annually and will save the company thousands of dollars in energy costs.
