Asirus Project PV Goes Commercial

July 9, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Asirus Solar International plans to open a commercial production facility, Thai Photovoltaics (TPV), in Temecula, California for the manufacturing of thin-film, solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. Private investors have funded the startup for the company, and they are searching for a US $10 million private placement from a corporate investor so they can move into commercial operations. The company will focus on off-grid solar home systems in developing countries in Asia, and grid-connected commercial and utility PV power plants in North America.
