ASES’s Solar Today Hires New Editor

January 22, 2004 [] Solar Today, the monthly news magazine from the American Solar Energy Society (ASES), now has a new editor, Regina Johnson, former editor of Public Utilities Fortnightly. This comes just as Tom Starrs, Vice President of Marketing and Sales for the Bonneville Environmental Foundation, officially assumed office as ASES’s new chair as of January 1, 2004. This is solar photovoltaic (PV) power’s 50th anniversary, and the recent issue of Solar Today feature article is on the history of the photovoltaic industry from 1963 to 2003. The most recent issue also offers comment from Starrs who delves into the society’s challenges and goals for 2004 and beyond.
