Aide Solar Opens PV Production Facility

Aide Solar, a subsidiary of the The PANJIT Group has opened a 1 million square foot solar cell and module production facility located in Xuzhou, China. Construction of the new Aide Solar facility was completed in July, 2009 on a 600 acre campus owned by The PANJIT Group.

The new Aide Solar facility features enhanced manufacturing lines that increases the company’s poly and mono-crystalline silicon PV module capacity by 40 percent to 350 MW annually to support growing customer demands worldwide.

In addition, the new facility houses 12 solar cell production lines. The opening of the new facility brings the number of Aide Solar employees to 1,184 worldwide.

“The widespread adoption of solar power continues to gain traction globally, and has increased in importance as a viable source of renewable energy,” said Jason Fang, chairman of Aide Solar. “The opening of this facility is a demonstration of Aide Solar’s commitment to expanding our success by providing highly reliable and cost-effective solar products to meet that increasing global demand.”
