It could certainly be argued that a pandemic that forces many people to work from home would be just the impetus an organization might need to convert as many of its operations to “virtual” as possible. Then again, in the energy delivery space, where utilities have already been slowly but surely digitalizing their operations, investing in any new and costly upgrades at this time could prove to be impossible. That’s what will make the Data-Driven Digital Utility Track at DISTRIBUTECH 2021 so interesting.
DISTRIBUTECH International, the annual event for distribution utilities and their partners, focuses on all of the latest trends and innovations in the electricity delivery space. The conference covers 12 different areas of the utility industry, which we call educational tracks – each offering 4 educational sessions. We asked each of our track chairs to tell us about the hot topics in their track right now.
