Solventus Chile, a unit of Spanish renewable energy firm Solventus, submitted an environmental declaration for the construction of a $5.6 million electricity transmission line in Chile’s northern coastal town of Arica.
The double-circuit 66 kV line will connect the substation of Dos Cruces PV solar energy plant to the existing Parinacota substation.
It will be 9.3 mile long and will supply the future production of Dos Cruces PV solar plant to the country’s northern power network SING.
The environmental request will be analyzed by the regulatory bodies by àarch 5, 2013.
