Power Transducer

Power Transducer

A three-phase power transducer, ideal for energy management installations, provides KYZ pulses for energy and two analog output signals for instantaneous parameters. One output is proportional to power demand while the other may represent apparent power, averaged current, or voltage or power factor. The transducer accepts standard 5 A current transformers (Ct) or small current sensors that can be wired off the existing Cts. Low power, 12 VAC transformers interface with line voltage and supply the unit. This allows for safe installation beside other low-voltage control equipment. The transducer supports delta, wye, single- and split-phase system configurations.
