Milsoft Utility Solutions, Inc., Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative in Eldorado, Illinois has selected Milsoft’s Geographic Information System (GIS) and Field Engineering Solution.
Southeastern Illinois Electric Cooperative, already a user of Milsoft Engineering Analysis, Outage Management and IVR Communications, has completed its Milsoft E&O System with the addition of the Milsoft GIS and FE.
“This will enable us to create, manage and use the circuit model and facilities data that are necessary for us to plan and operate our system reliably and economically,” said Engineering Manager Eric Jung, “and its integration with the Milsoft E&O System will help us to maximize our productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.”

Santee Electric Cooperative, Inc. currently uses Milsoft’s Engineering Analysis and IVR Communications. Their Mapping Project Engineer Christie Dyson said, “Milsoft’s OMS and GIS, including the operations data management and project management capabilities of the E&O System, will enable us to better manage the data that we need for system planning and operations as well as improve our response to service outages to better serve our customers.”
