Matrox on the grid at DISTRIBUTECH 2020

Matrox announced that its technology is powering a number of grid management platforms at DISTRIBUTECH 2020. Across the show floor, Matrox technology will capture PCs, cameras, and other media, and/or stream media for communications, remote monitoring, and collaboration.

Attendees will also see Matrox core technologies driving multi-channel capture, encode, decode, visualization, and control functionality on high-performance video walls, as well as offering recording support in control room scenarios for better UX design, improved training, or after-action review to contribute to uptime on the grid.

This year, one of Matrox’s featured partners, VuWall, will be at DISTRIBUTTECH showcasing many of these contemporary control room technologies. VuWall will be in booth 1351.

“At DistribuTECH, VuWall will demonstrate how we support the visualization requirements of energy organizations through our high-performance technology and fully integrated software platform,” said Paul Vander Plaetse, CEO at VuWall.

“Attendees will see VuWall’s ecosystem, which comprises VuScape video wall controllers with KVM support and the TRx centralized management platform. Highly configurable, modular, and flexible, the platform allows operators to harness the capabilities they need to seamlessly monitor, analyze, and respond to incoming information from various sources across multiple sites and on multiple video walls. VuWall will also showcase their latest VMS integrations with Genetec, Milestone, and ISS, critical to many control room environments.”

“VuWall focuses on user experience design in all their products,” said Samuel Recine, vice president of sales for the Americas and Asia Pacific in the Matrox AV/IT Group. “We will be joining conversations in many of our partners’ pavilions at the show. And we invite T&D operators, consultants, solutions providers, and peers alike to witness all the companies showcasing what used to be called the: Control Rooms of the Future.”
