Underground Distribution Switchgear
A Vista Underground Distribution Switchgear has been developed with ratings through 38 kV. This SF6-insulated gear, offered in the undercover style as well as the more traditional pad- and vault-mounted styles, offers a number of benefits. Routine tasks such as switching, isolating, grounding, voltage testing and phasing can be quickly performed by just one person without the need for cable handling or exposure to high voltage. Site selection is also easier. Pad-mounted installations are low profile, and undercover installations are completely subsurface, so gear can be located where needed without compromising aesthetics.
