San Francisco, United States [RenewableEnergyWorld.com] Suntech Power Holdings Co. Ltd. announced that it will offer the Enphase Micro-inverter to its network of U.S. Authorized Dealers. Initially Suntech has ordered enough of the Enphase Micro-inverters for approximately 1 megawatt of solar installations.
Suntech said that it will stock Enphase Micro-inverters alongside Suntech modules in its U.S. warehouses to ensure streamlined ordering for its dealers.
“Enphase Energy has come out with some very impressive inverter technology that will change the way solar is installed. We want to help our Authorized Dealers stay ahead of the curve, which is why we decided to make this available to our customers,” said Roger Efird, president of Suntech America Inc.
Enphase Micro-inverters bolt directly to the solar system racking, reducing installation time. Increased versatility in system size and module positioning will enable Suntech dealers to capture new business and speed up the installation process. Enphase’s Enlighten monitoring and analysis system, which is included with the micro-inverters, gives insight into the performance of a homeowner’s solar system.
RenewableEnergyWorld.com talked with Raghu Belur, co-founder and vice president of marketing at Enphase about the company’s product at Solar Power International in October where there was a lot of buzz surrounding the micro-inverter.
