Scheuten Solar To Build 2-MW Solar PV Plant

Scheuten Solar and GreenFever have signed a turn key delivery, operations and maintenance contract for the 5-hectare Zonnepark Veurne free field solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant in Belgium. With the signing of this contract, GreenFever has commissioned Scheuten Solar to bring the 2-MW plant in Veurne online.

“We decided for Scheuten Solar as our partner for the complete realization and maintenance of our PV Power Plant. Scheuten Solar is a very professional organization with vast expertise and knowledge in large PV Power Plants,” said Maarten De Cuyper and Stijn Lenaerts of GreenFever.

Scheuten Solar said that Zonnepark Veurne will be located in the sunniest part of Belgium. Construction on the project will start in February, and in May the system will be connected to the power grid. At that moment, it will be one of the largest operational PV facilities in Belgium.
