Proinso Wins 3-MW PV Supply Contract in Belgium

Proinso has signed a collaboration agreement with the Belgian engineering company Nizet, for the supply of modules, inverters and fixed structures, which will become the largest solar system currently installed in Belgium.

Proins, part of the OPDE Group, will also be responsible for advising on engineering and design optimization, as well as training the staff of the Belgian company. The new plant, located in Ivarem will have a capacity of 3 megawatts (MW).

Delivery of the system components will run from mid October through December 2009, and will cost close to €5 million. Proinso will provide 3 MW of 235-watt Trina Solar TSM-PC05 modules, 270 SMA SMC11000TL inverters, 266 Mecasolar MS-2CFIX fixed structures, as well as communications and monitoring equipment from SMA.
