GESOLAR smart PV modules integrate Solaredge junction boxes

September 9, 2011 — GESOLAR of Sainty International Group released a series of Smart PV modules optimized by Solaredge junction boxes at this week?s EU PVSEC. The current/voltage optimization for each module enables a 25% gain in system output.

European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) is taking place in Hamburg, Germany, September 5-9.

Each PV module operates at its optimal current and voltage, regardless of the current flowing in adjacent modules on the same string. Module-level monitoring supplies data for remote diagnostics to detect faulty or underperforming modules on a virtual site map. Maximum power point (MPP) tracking at the module level allows the Smart panels to react to shadowing and adjust for maximum solar exposure.

The GESOLAR modules boast a simple design, allowing integration on multiple roof facets, in unequal orientations, tilts and azimuths. Different module types can be combined in the same string.

DC voltage is safe during installation and maintenance. In case of fire, they will shut down automatically as soon as fire fighters shut down the AC electricity.
