Gamesa Reaches 10-MW Mexican Wind Supply Deal

Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica has entered into an agreement with developers Turbo Power Baja Energy for the supply of a total of five Gamesa G87 2-megawatt (MW) wind turbines, amounting to a 10-MW installation.

The turbines are destined for the Rumorosa wind farm, located in the State of Baja California. Assembly work is expected to commence in the second half of 2009.

Under the terms of the deal, Gamesa is responsible for the supply of the turbines, their installation and start-up, as well as their operation and maintenance.
