ET Solar Completes First Two Solar Projects in Turkey

ET Solar subsidiary ET Solutions Istanbul has completed the construction and grid connection of its first two Turkish solar PV plants, each with a capacity of 1.1 MW.

ET Solutions Istanbul provided EPC services along with a two-year operations and maintenance contract for both projects.

“We began by providing our world-class PV modules, expanded into EPC, O&M services, and have now established our own, local subsidiary,” Dennis She, president and CEO of ET Solar, said in a Dec. 28 statement.

Both projects, which are located in Antalya, Turkey, were tied into the grid at the end of November.

The company anticipates that the owners of the plant, who were unnamed, will seek additional services from ET Solutions Istanbul to build more plants of similar size in the region.

“Straddling the continents of Europe and Asia, Turkey is a very promising emerging market for solar energy,” Dennis said. “We are well established, with strong local partnerships, and are in a position to create more and more clean, renewable energy for Turkey.”
