The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has awarded a US$34,800 contract to Warren Environmental Equipment Inc. for work at the 525-MW Libby hydropower project on the Kootenai River in Montana.

The Corps’ Seattle District last sought bids for the work in April.

Per the contract, Warren Environmental Equipment will supply six thrust bearing cooling coils for Libby’s Unit 2 and six for Unit 4.
