U.S. Army extends call for micro-hydropower project at West Point

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has extended the deadline for applications for qualification to build a micro-hydropower project at the U.S. Army Garrison at West Point. Responses now are due Sept. 9.

The Corps’ New York District previously invited applications by Aug. 8. It seeks firms with experience constructing micro-hydropower of at least 50 kW to design, build, connect and commission a project at an existing dam at West Point, location of the U.S. military academy.

A pre-solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912DS15R0015 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
