Small hydro workshop planned for HydroVision pre-conference activities

As part of the activities offered ahead of the upcoming HydroVision 2010 event in North Carolina, a workshop on innovative small hydro technology is planned.

HydroVision, the year’s largest gathering of hydropower professionals, is planned for July 27-30, 2010, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Workshops, seminars and other events focusing on many aspects of hydropower kick off in advance of the upcoming HydroVision International Conference and Exhibition. To begin the week’s hydropower activities, take advantage of organizational meetings, seminars, briefings and workshops offered in addition to the conference agenda.

The small hydro workshop, planned for July 27, will highlight selected technologies that have the potential to significantly change the way small hydropower is being developed worldwide. Several technologies will be presented in a case study format and followed by a discussion session allowing questions and comments.

HydroVision International 2010 will highlight perspectives on the role of hydropower, explore issues affecting hydro resources and help participants develop a vision to meet challenges and ensure the future sustainability of hydropower.
