The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids for hydrographic data collection services primarily on the middle Rio Grande in New Mexico. A pre-proposal conference call is set Oct. 3 with bids due Oct. 17.
In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, Reclamation’s Albuquerque Area Office seeks hydrographic data collection, hydraulic and general engineering, field data and library cataloging services, data entry, and laboratory testing of sediment and geotechnical samples. It also seeks environmental services including investigations, compliance support, and monitoring as well as other services related to river hydraulics, mechanics, and geomorphic processes.
The majority of the work is to be performed in New Mexico on the Rio Grande, Rio Chama, and Pecos rivers, primarily on the Middle Rio Grande Project. However, other work could be performed in the Upper Colorado Region, including New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah.
Reclamation expects to make multiple awards of indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contracts for engineering services for a base year plus four one-year options. The cumulative contract value is estimated to be from $10 million to $22 million.
