Compagnie Nationale du Rhone (CNR) seeks bids to construct underground conduit and structures and penstocks for the Sarenne hydropower project in France. Bids are due October 22.
CNR, which owns 18 hydro plants on the Rhone ranging from 40 MW to 400 MW, took bids in 2013 for hydro-mechanical and electro-mechanical equipment for a fish passage structure and 700-kW mini-hydro plant at the 60-MW Sauveterre hydropower project on France’s Rhone River. It also took bids for civil engineering of the fish passage structure and mini-hydro plant, which would utilize attraction flows from the fishway.
CNR now seeks bids for Lot 1 for Sarenne, to construct underground conduit and structures and penstocks. Other lots would include electro-mechanical works and powerhouse civil works. Lot 1 works are to be carried out from January 2016 to December 2017.
