WEST Consultants Inc., a firm that provides public and private clients with specialized water resource engineering consulting services, has opened a new office in Portland, Ore., and appointed a new office manager and senior engineer to that location.
WEST’s Portland office staff is working on projects involving hydrologic analysis, hydraulic design, streambank protection, bridge hydraulics, reservoir operations and fish passage design.
The firm recently announced the appointment of Christopher Goodell as office manager and senior engineer at the new office. Goodell has an international reputation as an expert in hydraulic modeling, including dam breach, flood inundation studies, and sediment transport, the firm reported.
The firm also has offices in Arizona, California and Washington.
