Webcast will discuss selecting penstock material for run-of-river hydro projects

There are two opportunities in October to attend a free webcast entitled Minimize to Maximize: Minimizing Lifecycle Costs while Maximizing Power Profits.

The description of the webcast content is:

Run-of-river hydroelectric generation projects in North America continue to grow at a significant rate due to low power generation costs and abundant resource locations. Of key importance when developing run-of-river applications is penstock material selection and installation design. Failure to address these critical parameters could result in significant revenue generation losses. Uponor Infra (webcast presenter and sponsor) will compare various penstock construction materials, design and engineering considerations, installation, return-on-investment; discuss other solution offerings in support of site infrastructure; and present a case study review.

The webcast will air Oct. 6 and Oct. 11 at 12 pm eastern daylight time and is expected to last about one hour.

With an invitation to join the webcast is Uponor North America sales director Grant Thornley:
