The Bureau of Reclamation seeks bids to supply and install a five-ton monorail gantry crane at Ririe Dam on Willow Creek in Idaho. A site visit is scheduled Dec. 10, with bids due Jan. 5, 2015.
Ririe Dam, part of Reclamation’s Ririe flood control project on Snake River tributaries, contains no hydropower, but has been studied for hydro development under Federal Energy Regulatory Commission preliminary permits.
Reclamation now seeks bids for design, supply and installation of a five-ton monorail crane. The work is valued at $50,000 to $150,000.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. R15PS00044 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box. A site visit is scheduled for 10 a.m., Mountain time, Dec. 10.
