The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks proposals from firms to provide planning, environmental and engineering services at hydroelectric projects, dams, and other facilities in its Savannah District. Responses are due June 30.
The Corps’ Savannah District last year sought information on firms able to perform the work. It took bids in February for maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, renovation and operation of 422-MW Hartwell Dam on Georgia’s Savannah River. It also took bids last year for construction, rehabilitation and other work at hydroelectric projects, dams, and other facilities in its South Atlantic Division.
In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the district now seeks bids for planning, environmental and engineering services, including hydrology, hydraulics and geotechnical work, at Savannah District civil works projects.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912HN15R0010 in the “Keyword/Solicitation #” box.
