Paul C. Rizzo Associates Inc. announced that Dr. Paul C. Rizzo, founder, president and chief executive officer of Rizzo Associates, has received the 2011 Pittsburgh Business Times Diamond Award.
The award recognizes twelve of the region’s preeminent CEOs, company presidents or individuals holding equivalent positions.
As founder, president and CEO of Rizzo Associates, Dr. Rizzo has transformed his firm from a small six-person office in 1984 into over 300 employees worldwide, a press release states. Dr. Rizzo has built Rizzo associates into one of the leading international consultants in seismic safety of dams, nuclear power plants and other structures, the release states.
Recently, Dr. Rizzo was named one of Engineering News-Record magazine’s Top 25 Newsmakers for 2010.
