Norway utility seeks hydro plant civil construction

Norwegian hydro operator Otra Kraft DA seeks bids for civil construction of a hydroelectric project at Bykle, Norway. Bids are due September 7.

Otra Kraft seeks about 20 kilometers of tunneling, excavation of a 10,000-cubic-meter underground power station, and construction of a 50-meter-tall, 160-meter-long concrete arch dam. Work is to begin in 2008.
