Starting July 11 in Denver, Colorado, U.S., representatives of nearly 85 (as of June 14) hydroelectric power producing companies from around the world will gather to learn, network and exchange ideas.
In addition, registrations for many offerings on the program are filling up quickly, with significant interest in, for example, the Waterpower Hydro Basics course. This is a 1.5-day course for people who are new to hydro, or those who need a refresher. Interest is also strong for the three in-the-field technical tours scheduled on Monday and Tuesday, the two workshops being organized Monday by the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the new Networking Luncheon on Tuesday, and the Women with Hydro Vision lunch on Wednesday.
