The Provence Region’s canal and development company seeks bids to supervise renovation and foundation drainage of the 2-MW Bimont Dam micro hydro project on France’s Infernet River. Bids are due February 26.
A double-curvature arch dam completed in 1952, Bimont is 87.5 meters tall and 180 meters long. It supplies water to several municipalities and for irrigation.
Societe du Canal de Provence et d’Amenagement de la Region Provencale seeks bids to provide architectural and engineering services for the renovation and foundation drainage work at Bimont. The work is to be performed through December 2016.
