FERC seeks dam safety engineer for New York office

WASHINGTON 2/28/12 (PennWell) — The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission seeks candidates to serve as a civil engineer in its Division of Dam Safety and Inspections, in FERC’s New York Regional Office. Applications are due by March 5.

FERC took applications in November for a Supervisory Civil Engineer in its Portland, Ore., office.

The agency currently seeks a GS-0810-12/13 civil engineer at a salary of $77,585 to $119,935 for its New York office. The civil engineer must be knowledgeable in the investigation, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of dams and hydroelectric facilities. More than one selection might be made from candidates and the office locations might vary.
