Covering the industry’s hottest topics at HYDROVISION International

HYDROVISION International

What are the hot topics in the global hydropower industry right now?

You might name issues like climate change, energy storage, cybersecurity, integration of intermittent renewables, and COVID-19.

And, as we do every year, HYDROVISION International 2021 will cover all of these hot-button issues and more, ensuring we offer expert input and guidance on issues relevant to you, the people who work in this industry.

Although our eight distinct conference tracks don’t typically change year to year — and cover issues like asset strategies, environmental challenges, operations and maintenance, and more — our conference planning committee ensures we are helping the global industry stay up-to-date and educated on ways to overcome the challenges everyone is facing, each year.

Beyond the topics mentioned above, when you attend HYDROVISION International, you can learn about new dam construction, the latest energy storage technology, modern control systems, digitalization, small hydro development, refurbishments and overhauls, hydro relicensing, and fish passage.

And if that’s not enough, this year HYDROVISION will again offer our popular Knowledge Hubs, introduced in 2019. These sessions — in the exhibit hall — are shorter, more focused discussions of even more hot topics, organized under two umbrellas:

Learning from Case Studies (sponsored by Hydro Tech)

Technology Horizons

HYDROVISION International takes place Sept. 21 to 23 at the Spokane Convention Center in Spokane, Wash., U.S.
