Comverge announces licensing agreement with PPL

FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (PRNewswire-FirstCall) Comverge Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Data Systems & Software Inc., announced that it has entered into a licensing agreement with PPL Electric Utilities, a subsidiary of PPL Corporation, for its multipurpose PowerCAMP End-to-End Energy Intelligence software platform. PowerCAMP provides PPL Electric Utilities with an end-to-end software solution for automated meter reading (AMR) and comprehensive energy usage analysis of its largest C&I customers that comprise nearly one quarter of its regional revenue. This PowerCAMP software license is an integral component of Comverge’s previously announced $3.2 million contract with PPL Electric Utilities for its Maingateà¢â€ž- C&I wireless web gateway system.
