Blattner Energy names Ron Rasley general counsel

Blattner Energy, a power generation contractor and provider of renewable energy construction in North America, announced that Ron Rasley has been named general counsel.

David Blattner, who previously served as general counsel, will continue working with the legal team at Blattner Energy and focus his time developing future leaders within the company. This transition is a key example of Blattner Energy’s organizational planning strategy, which ensures the company’s long-term success by encouraging individuals nearing retirement to remain engaged with the organization.

Rasley brings more than 20 years of construction contracts, labor and employment experience to Blattner Energy. He has been with Blattner for eight years. As general counsel, Rasley is the chief legal representative of Blattner Energy, responsible for overseeing and identifying the legal issues in all departments, as well as corporate governance and business policy. He will continue to provide a supporting and collaborative experience for clients.

“We are moving from one great leader to another, and we are very happy about the transition and the teamwork of everyone involved,” said Scott Blattner, president of Blattner Energy. “David has provided outstanding leadership, and Ron’s expertise will support the company as we expand our renewable energy construction services into new markets. I want to thank both individuals for their hard work and dedication to the success of Blattner Energy.”
