Renewable Ventures has completed a management buy-out of the U.S. renewable energy subsidiary of nv Nuon, the utility company in the Netherlands. Finalized in 2004, Renewable Ventures says the acquisition positions them at the forefront of the drive to grow the $16.1 billion clean energy market by enabling adoption and commercial viability in the U.S. Renewable Ventures operates five renewable energy power plants in California, Ohio, Connecticut and Texas, and plans to enter other energy markets across the U.S.
