Hydrogen, Fuel Cell Partnership

MesoFuel, Inc. and Jadoo Power Systems, LLC, have announced a strategic partnership arrangement to integrate MesoFuel’s hydrogen generator products with Jadoo’s fuel cell products. The partnership enables Jadoo and MesoFuel to exclusively develop portable hydrogen power system products.

Albuquerque, New Mexico and Folsom, California – March 13, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] MesoFuel, a company that develops on-site, on-demand hydrogen generators, will jointly develop fuel cell products with Jadoo, a company currently marketing Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cells. “Historically it’s been a real challenge to supply hydrogen fuel on-demand to fuel cells in a safe, on-site, low-cost manner that permits them to run unattended for many hours or days,” said MesoFuel CEO Ned Godshall. “Our portable hydrogen generators overcome this limitation, and by integrating them directly with Jadoo’s fuel cells, we’ll be able to provide portable hydrogen power that runs far longer than present systems.” Jadoo last month was among 22 companies selected by DOE to present its technology to President Bush, at the recent Hydrogen Fuel Cell Event in Washington D.C. The briefing underscored the Hydrogen Economy Initiative outlined by the White House. “Jadoo is working hard to support President Bush’s Hydrogen Fuel Initiative by providing market-ready fuel cell power solutions today,” said Jadoo CEO Larry Bawden. “We see MesoFuel’s technology as a way to satisfy the long run-time needs of our future market applications and look forward to creating a new product line utilizing this technology.” MesoFuel and Jadoo products provide low-cost, efficient energy alternatives that will ultimately help reduce the U.S. dependence on foreign oil, preserve our natural resources, and reduce pollution in our cities and communities.
