January 17, 2003 [SolarAccess.com] The “Distributed Generation Analysis Tool” is now available. With this software, users are able to conduct a 20-year lifecycle cost analysis and assess the environmental impacts of distributed generation technologies. Users input required data and the tool analyzes and generates emissions and operating summaries and financial analyses. The tool was developed by the Science Applications International Corporation with assistance from the National Association of State Energy Officials and support from the U.S. Department of Energy.
