The Seventh Annual Congressional Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency EXPO is coming up next Tuesday. Taking place in Washington D.C., the event brings together more than 50 companies from across the United States representing more than two dozen renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. The EXPO is co-sponsored by the members of the House and Senate Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Caucuses and the Sustainable Energy Coalition.
September 2, 2004 [SolarAccess.com] Previous EXPOs have drawn nearly 3,000 visitors including Members of Congress, congressional staff, Executive Branch officials, the media, and interested members of the general public. Free ice cream and soft drinks will also be available to all attendees. The event will take place September 7, 2004 in the Caucus Room – Room 345; Cannon House Office Building Renewable Energy + Energy Efficiency Forum: Room 340 – Cannon House Office Building U.S. House of Representatives 1st Street & Independence Avenue, S.E.; Washington, D.C. 20515. A news conference featuring Members of Congress and Administration spokespersons is scheduled for 2:30 pm. Also being featured this year will be a Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Forum consisting of video presentations and two panel discussions that will highlight the technical and economic potential of the cross-section of sustainable energy technologies.
