May 30, 2011 — Solectria Renewables LLC, PV inverter manufacturer, introduced a cellular connection option for its SolrenView web-based PV inverter monitoring system. SolrenView AIR frees SolrenView users to monitor systems (such as the one picture here) without a wired connection.

SolrenView AIR is factory installed and configured. If a PV system power production issue arises, SolrenView alerts the owner via e-mail and cell phone alerts in real-time. Internet availability is no longer a restriction on this service, points out Phil Vyhanek, president of Solectria Renewables.

SolrenView AIR can be used by PVI 60/82/95KW and SGI Series customers when standard internet access is not readily available or in critical security applications. Solectria expects schools, banks, agricultural installations, and multi-MW solar fields to take advantage of the cellular connection option.

Solectria Renewables, LLC is a US-based grid-tied photovoltaic inverter manufacturer for residential, commercial and utility-scale solar installations. For more information on SolrenView AIR, please visit www.solren.com/solrenviewair.html.
