DistribuTECH conference offers education on energy storage, Internet of things

If you work in transmission and/or distribution, the DistribuTECH conference is a great place to learn about the latest hot topics, including energy storage and the Internet of things.

This event features education through 11 summit tracks on a variety of topics related to T&D, including asset management, data analytics, DER management and control, and enterprise grid management, to name just a few.

One highlight: Luke Williams, founder and executive director of the W.R. Berkley Innovation Labs, will be speaking during the keynote session on Feb. 6. Williams is an author and globally recognized authority on disruptive innovation. He will reveal a way of thinking that has the power to transform your business and stay ahead of the game.

More than 13,500 attendees are expected in 2019, with 68% of those working for electric/gas/water utilities.

DistribuTECH is being held Feb. 5-7 in New Orleans, La., U.S.
