CEC Meeting to Address RE Issues

An additional item has been added to the agenda of the California Energy Commission’s (CEC) regular August 14, 2002 Business Meeting to be held at 10 a.m. at the 1516 Ninth Street, Hearing Room A, First Floor, Sacramento, California.

Sacramento, California – August 7, 2002 [SolarAccess.com] The CEC will discuss the California Consumer Power and Conservation Authority, possible approval of a contract to accept up to US$25 million to provide additional rebates for public schools (K-12) who install photovoltaic systems. The funds would be used to supplement funds offered through the Emerging Renewable Resources Buydown Program for schools who develop and implement a Renewable Energy education plan and have taken certain energy efficiency improvement measures.
