Viridian Energy launches in Massachusetts

Norwalk, Conn. — Viridian Energy, a provider of green retail energy, announced it will launch in the Massachusetts market June 1, 2012 as part of its growth strategy. Massachusetts represents the seventh state Viridian has entered since its inception in 2009. Offering green energy to national grid and NStar customers, Viridian’s electricity plans will be available to more than 90 percent of the state’s energy consumers.

Building on the momentum created through pre-launch meetings, Viridian will hold a local market launch event on June2nd at the Westin in Walthamfor customers and current and future sales associates. Viridian has partnered with The Waltham Land Trust and Massachusetts Department of Recreation to host an event in honor of National Trails Day.

The event is open to the public.
