Nexant names Ventyx former as new vice president

Dan Gruidel, former vice president, strategic and solution marketing for Ventyx (an ABB company), has been appointed vice president of global marketing at Nexant.

Reporting to Nexant CEO Basem Sarandah, Gruidel will assume responsibility for directing Nexant’s marketing team and leading the company’s worldwide marketing initiatives for all of its products and services.

While at Ventyx, Gruidel managed a worldwide team responsible for global and regional marketing, demand generation, brand management, advertising, public relations and analyst relations.

His previous positions include senior director, global market development for Global Energy Decisions Inc., an enterprise software, data and advisory services provider with over 400 energy and utility customers worldwide and national sales manager for Platts/McGraw Hill Inc., a provider of energy information, historical energy market data and daily energy market pricing indices.

Gruidel has a B.S. in telecommunications from Eastern New Mexico University and an M.A. in integrated marketing communications from the University of Colorado.
