The PIC Energy Group announces operations and maintenance services contract with Exelon Power

Atlanta, Ga., April 25, 2002 — The PIC Energy Group has announced the agreement between PIC Energy Services, Inc and Exelon Power, to execute a five year Operations and Maintenance Services contract for a simple cycle peaking facility in Southeast Chicago, Illinois.

The facility is a new 350 MW natural-gas fired plant, jointly owed by Exelon Generation and Peoples Energy Resources Corp., that will provide electrical energy to the Chicago area, primarily during the peak summer season. The project scope provides for Operations and Maintenance Services responsibility including full Mobilization Services, training, daily operations and routine maintenance.

“We are extremely pleased with PIC’s efforts to meet our quick Mobilization requirements. They have provided Exelon Power highly qualified operators and technicians that will ensure the future success of the Southeast Chicago Energy Project,” said Tim Ramsay, Site Manager for Exelon Power.
